Introduction	My name is Jacklyn Barrs and I graduated Dalhousie University with an honours degree in Marine Biology in 2004. Since then I have been pursuing a variety of practical experiences in the marine environment, prior to returning the academic world for my masters as a marine mammal scientists. These experiences have included being a marine naturalist for four consecutive whale watching seasons, working as a marine mammal observer, volunteering on local research endevours, and currently working as a fisheries observer.
