| Introduction | My love of art and design has been with me since childhood starting with my very first crayon. I loved to color and did it beautifully inside the lines of every coloring book page. Growing up with the support of family and teachers, my artistry grew and eventually it catapulted me into the High School of Art and Design in Manhattan. There, I flourished and was introduced to an abundance of various art forms. My chosen path there was Fashion Illustration. At the end of my high school years I was all ready, portfolio in hand, to take my next step and go to the Fashion Institute of Technology(F.I.T.). But with life's many twist and turns I changed direction. After having a beautiful family, a wonderful husband and two amazing kids, I completed my Associates Degree in Liberal Arts. In a few years I will retire after having twenty years in law enforcement. I have returned to school to complete my lifelong dream of obtaining a Bachelors Degree in Visual Arts. This will be the next chapter in my life back to my love of Art and Design. |
