| Introduction | Tamara is a doctoral candidate at the Andrew and Renata Kaldor Centre for International Refugee Law, UNSW, Australia. As part of her research into the African regional refugee protection she visited South Africa, Kenya and Addis Ababa to conduct field research and learn a bit more about life on this vast continent.
