| Introduction | Born in New Brunswick, Canada. Have four brothers and two sisters. Attended BYU-Hawaii where I met and fell in love with a wonderful man; we were married in the SL Temple. Am the mother of two handsome and incredible sons and three beautiful and extremely capable daughters(our youngest daughter is deceased). Okay, so they are human and not perfect, but they are extremely loved! I also have a wonderful son-in-law, grandson, granddaughter--who are perfect! And two fantastic daughters-in-law. I don't like the unpleasant things that come with aging such as wrinkles, bad knees, requiring more sleep, etc. Had seven wonderful years working for Utah Governor Michael O. Leavitt and our first woman Governor, Olene S. Walker. Completed my Governor's Office experience as Governor Walker's Director of Boards and Commissions and Gubernatorial Appointments. |
| Interests | My family, church, co-workers and friends. I enjoy baking treats, reading when I can find time, nurturing and giving my time, talents and love to my family, serving others and caring for my many houseplants. Loved supporting three of our children when they served LDS missions; we were greatly blessed by their service. Was extremely blessed to serve as ward RS Pres. for 4 1/2 years and Stake RS Pres. for almost 8; am humbled at the Lord's confidence in me. Love teaching Sunday School and RS now. We travel a couple of times a year and I have had the privilege of visiting places like Thailand, China, Tahiti,Costa Rica, Mexico, Belize,Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada (where 95% of my relatives live.) Traveling has grown on me, I didn't like it at first; I'm a home body! |

| Favorite books | The Book of Mormon, Bible, Doctrine & Covenants, and The Pearl of Great Price. One of my favorite scriptures in the Bible is found in Isaiah 55:6-12. There are many authors I like; therefore, there are many books I've enjoyed. |
