Introduction As a community of non-professionals, we all have one thing in common. We have had a loved one die and (have) are struggling with our own grief. As Grievers Supporting Grievers, we understand “WE GET IT!”. Based on our own experiences we share what has worked for us and what might be good for you to know. All of us have felt like we “LOST IT” when our loved one died; we feared our sense of “LOSS OF CONTROL” over our emotions, our daily routines and our ability to move on. This non-judgmental community has been where you are, and we want to be supportive to others facing these painful life changes of grief. WHAT WE ARE NOT We are not Social workers; Psychologist or Psychiatrist; we are men and women just like you, living what you are living; facing the hardest challenge of our life. Understanding Grief!
Interests This is a Place of Friendship for Public Discussion about Grief (of any kind). Please treat this discussion forum with the same respect you would if walking in a public park. This is a safe place to share, ask questions, get suggestions and hear stories of loss through ongoing conversation. We are a community of vulnerable members seeking comfort. Let’s keep this a safe place for public discussion because as peer grievers “We Get It!”
