Introduction	I have been driving a truck since 1967 and I have been an owner-operator since 1972. I have owned 21 tractors and 5 trailers. I have always leased my equipment to a carrier, I have never had my own authority. My wife keeps the books and does our taxes. We have never made a lot of money, but we are still in business, so we must be doing something right. I have a Harley, which I love to ride when I have time. That is why I use the handle "Road King", as it applies both to my trucking and my Harley Road King Classic motorcycle.
