| Introduction | Growing up I was raised in a household with loving parents and delicious food. Both my mom and dad were fantastic cooks as well as my mom was a magnificent baker. My passion for cooking started at a young age with my mom and I in the kitchen cooking and baking while on our pretend “A&D” cook show. Most recently I was married in May of 2010 to the love of my life and receive much pleasure from having a home cooked meal on the table for him after his long day at work. In September 2010 my mom/best friend/hero passed away from a year long battle with cancer. Due to her passing I took a leave of absence from working on my Master’s degree and am currently taking time for myself. In the meantime I am a stay at home mom to our two wonderful dogs- Angel and Prudence- as well as a housewife to my hardworking husband. While in the kitchen I feel the closest to my mom and enjoy the feeling of pleasing others taste buds. I am no professional, but I have a strong passion to be in the kitchen and I hope you can find my cooking and baking adventures an inspiration to you and your family. |
