Introduction	I am mostly a wife and mom, but this blog affords me rare moments to also be a writer and thinker. I am 41 yrs old. I have been wife to my Dear Husband for 17 years, still going strong. I am mommy to four really great kids. I used to teach writing, literature and film theory to university students, but now have a much more challenging, but rewarding job: home schooling. I sometimes teach other kids too, and lead Old School Mondays. I thoroughly enjoy Netflix and quality children’s literature. I am spiritually home at Vintage Faith Church, and love connecting with and serving women through SoulKitchen. I live on beautiful Monterey Bay, CA, in a tiny, 1920's mountain cabin under coastal redwoods, five minutes from the beach. And when I say tiny, I mean 560 square feet. Yeah, about the size of your family room. I mention this little detail about us, because, well, it really does change everything. Living graciously in such an unconventional space with a family of 6 is a practical and spiritual art, which requires lots of purposeful “thinking outside the box,” but has led to better quality of life. I love my tiny house. I love my family. I am truly Blessed.
