| Introduction | Since we started Swank Lighting in 2005 we've become addicted to decorative lighting. As with all addictions there are inherent problems. In our case we can't enjoy a movie, television show, magazine, blog, book, restaurant, hotel lobby, and even friends homes without scanning for and analyzing the floor lamps, table lamps, chandeliers, pendants, and sconces. We've tried unsuccessfully to control this obsession so we decided to just give in and create a space to store all these images.... for what, we don't know. We're making it public via E 'la lampada (Italian for "it's the lamp"). We wanted to use "it's the lamp, stupid" because we love James Carville... But stupid in Italian is stupido... just didn't sound right. Please enjoy our obsession and feel free to email us photos of your favorite lamps and settings so we can post them here as well.
