| Introduction | I am a stay at home Mom of 4 kids. This blog, however, is dedicated to my youngest son Jaxon. It is first and foremost my letter to him. I write this so he can look back and see how far he has come. To see him as we see him. Rare, unique, a miracle, brother, son, silly, joyful, a boy. The way he taught our family to be accepting of differences - tolerant and kind when others are not. The way he makes his sister and brother light up when they see him and when he sees them. The love they share for each other is mesmerizing to watch. I am better because of him. They are better because of him. God has blessed him and us with his joyful heart and that will help carry us through this journey. I also write this to bring awareness and understanding. Jax has many unknowns, including a linking umbrella diagnosis. We hope and pray he continues to grow. We hope and pray he will walk someday. We hope and pray for research to develop. |
