| Introduction | My name is Zlata. I am in my early teens and I live with my parents in Sarajevo. I am an only child. My friends and family are very important to me too. Right now, Sarajevo is in the middle of a war. There is shelling going on and we go hours, some times days with out water, heat, or electricity. My dad had to leave for a little bit, but because he has my mother and I, he got to come home. A lot of my family and friends have been sent to other cities for protection. We go to the cellar when the shelling starts, and at times, we don't know how long we will be down there. All I want, is for the war in Sarajevo to end. |
