| Introduction | After retiring, I started volunteering with Meals on Wheels in 2006. I have truly enjoyed being apart of this program and have meet some wonderful people who volunteer their time, energy and caring hearts to be a bigger part of our community. So I thought I would like to get the word out by blogging. I have never done a blog so you will see many goofs along the way. I mainly want to say THANK YOU to all our volunteers and get the word out about Meals on Wheels. |
| Interests | They call me the back road queen. Love to just get in my car and drive. Turn the music up and windows down. Love my quiet time with the Lord, like to read, spend time with family and friends, and work in my yard. I wish I liked to exercise cause I really do need its just not my cup of tea. Oh yes, I do like teatime, like stage plays and theater. |
| Favorite movies | I like movies, I have too many favorites. Old timers are all the Thin Man murder mysteries; I am glad they are starting to make good Christian movies. |
| Favorite music | I truly like all music but listen mainly to Christian music or country. I love listening to classical or instrumental music during my quiet times and reading. |
| Favorite books | Favorite authors are Ellen Gunderson Traylor; CS Lewis; Phillip Keller and Anne Austin; These are all Christian writers that I highly recommend. But I also like to read various murder mystery books as long as they are not too gory. |
