| Introduction | I work full time for DXC.technology as a quality adviser and the opinions expressed in this blog are mine alone. DXC.technology was formed in April, 2017 by the merger of CSC and HPES. Prior to joining CSC, I founded and established a consulting practice, Practical Process Improvement (PPI) to work with small to medium sized businesses to improve the effectiveness, efficiency and productivity of their manufacturing and service processes by use of practical process improvement tools and methodologies. Before I started PPI, I worked for The New York Times for sixteen years, USA TODAY for seven years and AFL Web Printing for two years. I grew up and lived in a small town in western New York State until graduation from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 1982. I also have an Executive MBA from Rutgers University. I live in Southern New Jersey, and I'm married with two teenage daughters. |
| Interests | I'm naturally curious about many things so reading and any learning activity is a great interest of mine. I also enjoy spending as much time as I can with my family. I have two teenage daughters and they are growing up way too fast. |
| Favorite movies | When I see a movie I like to laugh but I'll occasionally like a good action movie. So it's basically comedies mostly older ones such as early Mel Brooks the Pink Panther series and others similar. One of my favorite action movies is "No Way Out" from the 1980s. |
| Favorite music | Rock and roll from the 60s to mid-80s. I can't stand anything on the radio now. And I sound like my father here. |
| Favorite books | While I like to read it's mostly periodicals and business books. I'll occasionally pick up a biography or science fiction book but not as often as I would like. |
