Introduction I am so thrilled to be teaching kindergarten at Maryland Elementary! I love teaching and cannot imagine doing anything else! I first came to Columbus to attend The Ohio State University. While there I received an undergraduate degree in Human Development and Family Science, with an emphasis on early childhood development, as well as a minor in education. After my graduation, I continued on at OSU to obtain my Masters of Education in early childhood education (preK-3rd grade). I spent 3 years teaching full day kindergarten at Columbus School for Girls and am now entering my fourth year of teaching kindergarten at Maryland . I am originally from Cincinnati, Ohio and now live in Hilliard, Ohio with my husband, Andrew, who is an elementary school counselor in the Dublin City School District. I love animals and have a Siamese cat named Buckeye. I also love being outside (camping, hiking, etc.). I also love to sing and read. I am a HUGE Buckeye fan and I spend all of my Saturdays in the fall cheering on the Buckeyes! I am so looking forward to an exciting and inspiring year with your children.
