| Introduction | Kate is a mother of three who has been married for nine years between two husbands. She also continues to pursue her career part-time, which means she's basically failing at two jobs rather than one. However, her bosses tend to praise her work, mostly because she doesn't threaten to send them to their rooms every seven minutes. She included the "no minivan clause" in her pre-nuptial agreement, which her near-eternal bachelor husband still doesn't understand but every mom does. Like Lydia, she lives in the suburbs, and has one dog who the vets insist is dying, mostly, she thinks, to charge far too much for the 27-pill regimen he takes every day. And, she looks in her very fashionable closet - from which she rarely wears - and sees that the amount of money she has pissed away on shoes she has no place to wear is more than her entire annual salary. She finds her co-contributor exceedingly funny, and, thanks to you reading this blog, her children's and husband's antics are just more material for this place rather than a reason to self-medicate.
