About me

Occupation Gardener, lecturer, fiction writer, business owner, bead stylist, I should stop now
Location Illinois, United States
Introduction I specialize in fresh, amazing, organic blended herbs. My herbs gardens started in 1992, with a Backyard Patch. Now I manage ¾ of an acre and turn it into cooking blends, herb-infused bath and spa items and a multitude of herb combined teas. My first garden was a way to make my rented home my own, but became so much more. The herbs became more important than the vegetables and soon I was crafting teas and spice mixtures for my own kitchen. I soaked up knowledge on herbs and expanded the gardens to match my passion for everything herbal. When there were not enough relatives and friends I could give my creations too, I branched out into marketing my blends. I have been selling my herbs at farmer’s markets, craft fairs & garden walks for more than 15 years. Every recipe is specially blended by hand and perfected until I am satisfied with the taste, texture and overall flavor. Now, like those who taught me, I share my knowledge about herbs in this blog, as well as through public lectures to groups and printed articles. There is no end to the information about herbs. Everyday I find more interesting tidbits about herbs. Enjoy!

Unlike a dog, how can a turtle ever be naked?

Naked animals is not my specialty, but shell-less turtles seem more like a delicacy than an indecency
