Introduction	Everyone should be passionate about something. It keeps things interesting. We happen to be passionate about the land we live on, a small parcel tucked away in the southeastern corner of our county, sitting in a transitional area between three distinct ecological subsections. For over 10 years we’ve been working to remove invasive buckthorn and restore the habitat to what it might have been like pre-settlement – oak savanna and oak-hickory woodland. A recent installment in our growing bag of tricks was the addition of browsing goats. Of course, we knew nothing about goats, just as we were novices about all phases of restoration when we set out on this journey. So we will learn – and laugh – as we go. We invite you to learn and laugh along with us.
