| Favorite movies | TELEVISION: Britain's incredible MI-5, The Wire, Dexter, Weeds, Californication, Entourage, Modern Family, Cougartown (way better than you expect it to be, trust me!), Fringe (sometimes just for the guy who plays Walter -- that guy needs an award) Battlestar Galactica (yeah, it's gone now, but Netflix it or something -- even if you hate sci-fi, because it goes far beyond any genre definition; it is outstanding in every way). MOVIES: Cinema Paradiso (because it was the first movie I needed to see like 4 times and cried each and every time), Sixteen Candles, Notting Hill, About a Boy, In the Loop (total and utter comic and verbal genius; I would give my left hand to write that kind of shrewdly observed and wickedly brilliant screenplay) and too many more to name at this moment, but I'll get back to that later. |
