| Introduction | I'm "Aunt Nat" to Grey, Hannah, Bekah, Drexell and Fletcher (and assorted friend's children). I'm "Nat" to everyone else. I live in Salem, far away from everyone in my family. The greatest part of the year is in the summer when we all get together at Mom and Dad's. But I have a great extended "family" right here with many close friends from life, work and church. I've worked for the state of Oregon for about 23 years. I graduated from OSU with a degree in journalism and started my career as a newspaper reporter/editor. I'm "mommy" to my black cat Shadow and my puppy Jeny who I adopted in the summer of 2008. |

| Favorite movies | I love all movies that: - were made before 1940, - in black and white, and/or - star Cary Grant I also love modern action adventure, sci-fi, period epics, foriegn and suspense movies. One summer I watched all the Alfred Hitchcock movies they had at the rental place. I like comedies, but only when I'm in the mood! |
| Favorite music | Everything from Broadway to blues. I like modern top 40, alternative, alt country, oldies, Beatles, old jazz and blues and gospel. Drexell helps me keep current on new groups and trends. I impress my friends with things I've learned from him! |
| Favorite books | - A Tree Grows in Brooklyn - To Kill a Mockingbird - Almost any modern novel by an east Indian author. - Harold and the Purple Crayon (an oldey but a goodie. I have a reprint of it. It was a childhood favorite!) |
