| Introduction | The Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) is a set of analytical tools, and processes, to analyze the severity of a food security situation according to scientific international standards. It aims at informing decision makers with a rigorous analysis of food insecurity in both emergency and development contexts. The IPC is currently being used in over 25 countries in Latin America, Africa, and Asia. At Global Level, the IPC is led by the 10 agencies: ACF, CARE, CILSS, FAO, FEWSNET, FSC, EC-JRC, Oxfam, Save the Children, and WFP. |
