Location	Franklin, MA
Introduction	I cannot believe this is my fifteenth year teaching! I am a graduate of the University of New Hampshire with a degree in Music Education: Emphasis in Voice. I also have a Master's Degree in Teaching General Music from Bridgewater State University. I began teaching at Remington Middle School in 2004, where I taught general music to grades 6-8 and chorus. While I loved the school and students, I always felt drawn to the elementary level. When I heard of an opening at JFK and Parmenter I knew it was a great opportunity. Luckily, it was a perfect fit! I now teach K-5 general music and 3rd, 4th and 5th grade choruses. I could not imagine myself doing anything else! I live with my husband, son, daughter and cat. My husband is a fifth grade teacher in Mendon-Upton, MA where he teaches English Language Arts and Social Studies. In addition to music, I love reading, walking/running, musical theater, and spending time with friends and family. The power of music in EVERY child's life is extremely important to me. I feel very fortunate to be able to share this in Franklin, the town I grew up in! I was and still am a JFK ladybug and now also a Parmenter Panda!
