| Introduction | I am Kaushalya Gayani, a graduate of the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka, where I completed a First-Class Honours Degree in Tourism and Cultural Resource Management and was awarded the Gold Medal for the Best Performance. I am currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at London Metropolitan University (UK) to strengthen my expertise in Business Administration. My professional background includes experience as an Assistant Lecturer at the Sri Lanka Institute of Advanced Technological Education (SLIATE) and the University of Kelaniya, focusing on tourism and hospitality management, as well as experience as an Assistant Operations Manager in the private sector. In addition, I have contributed research and articles to academic journals and online platforms, exploring sustainable tourism, adventure tourism, and tourism development in Sri Lanka. This blog has been developed as part of my MBA studies to explore strategic human resource management practices and their role in organizational success. |
