Introduction	Ingrid is retired from 30 years as an OT, specializing in upper extremity injuries. Lyle is retired from 33 years in law enforcement, working a variety of positions from traffic and patrol, to supervision. Both Lyle and Ingrid have felt the Lord leading them to ministry in Africa. Their first trip to Africa was from Oct 19 to Nov 15, 2011. While there they visited New Hope Uganda and African Inland Missions, as well as others. Ingrid's heart is for children and desiring to show them that there is One who loves them more then they could ever imagine and that He, unlike so many earthly fathers, is safe and trustworthy and will never abandon them. God also showed her that orphans are not just limited to the young. There are those who are orphans, just in a grown up body. Lyle saw how endemic corruption is and would like to be involved with the efforts being made to curb corruption; however, he also knows that the only true and lasting change comes from a changed heart. Ingrid sees herself working with children and young adults who are orphans. Again, for both Ingrid and Lyle, discipleship is at the center of what the Lord has placed on their hearts.
