About me

Introduction	In 2010, at the age of 33, I was diagnosed with Melanoma. Although I had watched this mole for a few years, I was lucky and caught it early enough that it was able to be removed through surgery. I want to promote melanoma and skin cancer awareness. I feel called to educate parents on sun safety in a way that encourages them to pass that knowledge on to their children, so that they will grow up making sun safe decisions, knowing that they are beautiful in their own skin, without a tan.
