Introduction I am the product of typical public and Catholic education. I received a BS Ed in Secondary Education: Mathematics and General Science. My father left England to escape Socialized medicine and it would take half my life to discover the ills of Socialism. Not having any influence to counter the liberal indoctrination, it took the difficult decision of home schooling that I began to enter this "counter-culture" of Conservatism. I was "shocked" to realize there was a name for the values I really had and began to find expression and passion for them. My conversion began when an amazing man, Pres. Ronald Reagan, melted my heart in the landslide election of 1980. I later underwent another conversion while working on a minor in philosophy. During that time, I stumbled upon a church that actually practiced all that it preached and shifted the strength of humanity back onto the individual - not another person or an institution. "Give a man a fish and he can eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he can eat for a lifetime." I was baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on November 1, 1989.
