| Introduction | Matt and Mandy, along with their four children (Maximus 15, Gabriel 13, Mercedes 11 and Lily 3) have served in orphan care and small business development in Guatemala since 2009. What started as a one month exposure trip, led to a life changing commitment to serve the orphans of Guatemala. With a strong desire and conviction to serve the children in Guatemala, the Wilsons followed God's calling and are working at Shadow of His Wings Orphanage. They have fulfilled the role of short term mission team coordinators in Monjas, Jalapa. Some of their various duties include preparing team schedules, budgets, in country travel, as well as onsite and offsite ministry opportunities. Aside from their work in Monjas, Matt and Mandy have started a small chicken farm to reinvest profits back into ministry. The Wilsons are just an ordinary family being used by an EXTRA-ordinary God who has called and equipped them to share His LOVE and a message of HOPE! |
