| Introduction | I’m a four-year resident of Petoskey, Michigan. I moved to the area in Spring of 2004 after getting some pretty strong hints from various sources and from life’s great clock, to make the leap; to remove myself from the hustle and pace of Southeastern Michigan life, to try and make a go in a place I’ve always admired and enjoyed. I view vacation and travel as a means to explore our great outdoor resources, from the epicenter of my location outward to the nation’s boundaries and beyond. |
| Interests | I’m an active sea kayaker, with an interest in backcountry coastal paddling trips and expeditions, and an eventual objective of instructor certification with the goal of helping others enjoy the pursuit. Also love cycling, hiking, trail running, skiing, snowshoeing and anything else that gets me outdoors. Also a sometimes landscape gardener, an avid photographer, occasional freehand illustrator, and aspiring writer. I seldom find a sport I don’t enjoy, music I cannot appreciate, or books in which I can’t lose myself. |
