Introduction Crowd simulation is the process of simulating the movement of a large number of objects or characters, now often appearing in 3D computer graphics for film - Wikipedia. Crowd simulation is researched in various fields, such as the social sciences, computer graphics, psychology, architecture, physics. Two broader areas of crowd simulation exist, one that focuses on realism of behavioural aspects, the other on high quality visualisation.A recent trend is the convergence of both areas. With a focus on this convergence, mainly in the computer graphics area and social science, this blog will embed the most recent developments, along with the work that is being researched here. The research is being undertaken at the Centre of Advance Spatial Analysis (CASA), University College London (UCL).
