Introduction	My name is magan truempy, When I start a new piece of work I am very concerned with the line and color of the piece. As a metal artist I find that I am attracted to geometric shapes and texture, i find myself more attracted to oxidized metal then polished metal, instead of polishing the entire piece i would rather only polish the high points to add a linear quality to my pieces. My favorite part of a project that I am working on would be when I set a stone in the piece, I love to set stones, stones capture me with the color and the light reflections that bounce off the facets. I love tube setting stones I think I am just fascinated with the idea of ending a piece of tube with a beautiful stone and I try my best to utilize that fact to help with the design of my pieces. If It was possible I would probable try to create a piece of work entirely of stones. I do also love working with glass and would like to work that medium into more of my work, I feel that even though metal and glass are different materials and need to worked with in different ways I feel as though they still will go well together, therefore I would like to explore that combination.
Interests	everything having to do with jewelry.
Favorite music	i have an eclectic taste in music i will listen to almost anything good
