Which is more important to you and why: flexibility or expandability?

Flexibility--I would rather be able to flex a well-toned muscle or be able to touch my need-a-pedicure pigs than to have to expand the waistband of my favorite pants to desperately try and hide my muffin top. Oops! I think I've said too much.
