| Introduction | Christ's Starfish Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is devoted to two things. We work with the child life specialists at Wolfson Children's Hospital in Jacksonville, Fl and Shands Hospital in Gainesville, FL to help all of the children in the hospital. We also help the families of patients with non-cancer illnesses. (The cancer patients have access to two other resources). One of our biggest projects is to provide gifts for the children who are in the hospital on Christmas Day. This year through the help of our partners we provided approximately 1200 gifts to 86 children in Wolfson Hospital as well as 600 gifts to 60 children in Shands. |
