Introduction Style Court began in May 2006 with a focus on decorative arts, textiles, books, art history and interior design. (My B.A. is in art history and my masters is in education.) Past adventures include a five-year stint as a docent at the High Museum of Art. My written work has appeared in The Wall Street Journal, Southern Accents, Enfilade, TradHome, Atlanta Intown and other publications. The blog's title is a play on my name, Courtney Barnes, and the concept of "court" as a gathering place. Media attention has come from the editors of Time, Elle Decor, Domino, Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles, 1stdibs, Lonny, The Washington Post, The New York Times, Country Living, and Apartment Therapy L.A. Please note: Style Court does not offer paid editorial coverage or links, run ads, or accept gifts of goods or services, and the blog is not affiliated with the artists, publishers, galleries, museums or designers featured on this site. Thanks so much for visiting!
