| Introduction | Having finished my undergrad at UBC in Canadian Studies, I am heading over to BCIT to study Interior Design. My husband and I have been in Vancouver for four years now and have had the privilege of living in four different apartments---one for less than 24 hours! We are seasoned movers. Being a renter, I am always looking for inexpensive ways to make each place a home, brainstorming creative solutions to the issues with some of our units (storage problems anyone?!), and finding interesting ways to reuse old pieces and family heirlooms. At the same time, I'm always dreaming of our "forever home," and Vancouver is the perfect location for that. It is brimming with great architecture, creative design, and awesome shops, cafes, and restaurants...there's always inspiration to be found. |
