Introduction	Currently, I am attending Rutgers University with a pursuit of an Accounting degree. I decided to take Intro to Photography because I always enjoyed taking pictures. I went into the class hoping to develop my skill in taking pictures, but now I am also hoping to also develop my skill in reading pictures. My thesis statement for my portfolio was challenge. Every assignment we had was a challenge, and I wanted to challenge my viewer with my pictures. The type of pictures I usually take are up close, dramatic, cut offs, mysterious, and not giving out too much information. I want my viewer to have their own opinion on my pictures, and I don’t want any definite answers with my pictures. Artist who have influenced me through out the semester were my classmates. Once of week we have critics in class which I believe was the main cause of my progress. Also, a Thank You to our instructor Nick Kline for helping us pick out pictures, and seeing things we didn’t pick up on. I can’t draw with pencils so I draw with light.
