| Interests | I guess obsession is the best word to describe how I feel about my dollhouses. When Im building I am in another place and it takes a strong act of willpower to bring me back to reality. I love this hobby,Ive learned so much, and every year,every house I do, I learn more and my work improves,thats why I cant stop. I dont sell my houses, but I have so many now that I have to start thinking about selling in the future.I really dont ever want to stop building. I use paperclay on my houses,or drywall mud,whatever I use its all about aged texture,realism,dimension.I couldnt do a traditional dollhouse if my life depended on it! This year I discovered polymer clay and started making my own food and flowers,and what ever else I can make with it. I love it,I'll never be a polymer clay artist,but its really rewarding to make my own things:) |
