Introduction Through this blog I share recipes and ideas about cooking nutritious delicious foods from the amazing plant world. I spent most of my life just eating what I liked. In July of 1998 I became became vegetarian. I did this out of concern for the inhumane treatment of slaughterhouse animals and out of concern for my personal health. In 2002 I became vegan. It was not easy for me to give up seafood, and later dairy. Now I look at my diet as inclusive of the entire plant world instead of exclusive of seafood and dairy.
