Introduction	The genesis of my interest in wine and spirits can be traced to drinking refrigerated chianti from a jug with my ex-wife's family. My tastes, in beverages and women, have impoved appreciably since those days. I developed an interest in cocktail culture after watching a wonderful film by the brothers Joel and Ethan Coen, Miller's Crossing.
