I grew up on a sheep farm in Western Australia and was home-schooled until high school. I was always interested in fashion, up-cycling op-shop finds from a young age. After completing my TEE at a country boarding school, fashion studies were my first choice for tertiary education. From one extreme to another, I am inspired by all parts of my life. With a background in farming, I am interested in wool as a sustainable fibre. Furthermore, I am intrigued by the journey of fibres and the origins of recycled materials. I feel it is important to up-cycle in a way that celebrates the origins of the garment, promoting the story of sustainability.
