| Introduction | I'm a mom of three with a fascination of glass and I love working it hot. I make flameworked beads (also known as lampwork) but I also like doing kilnwork. I spent a little time in a hot glass shop where I had the chance to make some neat paperweights, larger kiln peices, and did a little stained glass work. The bead bug bit me in 1993, though I didn't start making jewelry until 1996. I started making my own glass beads in 2001. While I was pregnant with my last baby, I took a break from hot glass and found a new love in the world of vintage, mostly clothing/lingerie. |

Which is easier to make a model airplane out of and why: a banana peel or a wet sock?
A banana peel because you can cut it, mold it, and let it dry, and then put it together right and it will be sturdy.
