| Favorite music | Well, my young cousin thinks I have the most annoying iPod in the world because there are only like five songs from any one artist at most. Okay--the Thermals. There are over twenty Thermals songs on it, including all of their most recent, The Body, The Blood and The Machine. And the audio clip? Max Richter. Bach Shadow. That's on the iPod too. It's my private soundtrack for an unfinished and maybe never finished story of mine called "Eight Ball." "Bach Shadow" itself is more like a fragment than a song; maybe that has something to do with it... |
| Favorite books | We haven't really moved in completely to our new place so a lot of my books are in boxes. Except my story collections. Had to get those out. Three sets of bookshelves worth. I'd name all the authors here if I had the patience. Currently reading Ben Fountain's BRIEF ENCOUNTERS WITH CHE GUEVARA, recommended to me by another writer, Claudia Monpere McIssac. |
