Introduction	I am ageing and cynical but with a simple nature. Deep down I'm probably still the child who was frightened of Santa Claus.
Interests	Reading, writing, talking, listening. Also music, film, observation, fitness, coffee-drinking, computers, agonising, analysing and overthinking things.
Favorite movies	Lost in Translation, American Beauty, The History Boys, Closer, The Commitments, Once, Almost Famous, State and Main, Cyrano de Bergerac, Romeo + Juliet, La Discrete, The Fabulous Baker Boys, It's a Wonderful Life, A Bunch of Amateurs, The King's Speech.
Favorite music	Almost anything except country & western. My playlists are organised by state of mind or possible occasion.
Favorite books	Mostly I'll read everything - with passion and a good pair of reading glasses. Love Shakespeare, Austen etc and many recent authors.
