| Introduction | I've been a screenwriter since 1987 when Universal Studios bought and produced K-9, a spec script I co-wrote. Other movie credits: Alaska (1996), starring Thora Birch, and Trojan War (1997), starring Jennifer Love Hewitt. I am co-founder of Screenwriting Master Class, a unique online writing resource, and I teach screenwriting at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In 2005, I received the Outstanding Instructor Award for my work as an online teacher through UCLA Extension's Writers' Program. |
