Introduction I started sea kayaking in 1991. I have paddled in many places, but my special place close to home is the Pinery at Lake Huron. I've paddled in Iceland, Greenland, Labrador, Bahamas, Bonaire, Cuba, Belize and numerous destinations in Canada. I circumnavigated Manitoulin Island, the world's largest freshwater island, in 2004. In 2005, I circumnavigated an entire province of Canada, Prince Edward Island, the first female to do so. In 2006, I circumnavigated Newfoundland, a 2700 km journey that was both daunting and starkly beautiful and again, the first female to complete this unique journey.
Interests If I'm not kayaking, I'm teaching, traveling, camping, writing, reading or doing photography. Or, I'm dreaming and planning my next adventure.
Favorite Movies Any good romantic comedy, a "chick flick" or a good action adventure drama.
Favorite Music easy listening rock, flamenco guitar
Favorite Books On Celtic Tides by Chris Duff, Kabloona in a Yellow Kayak by Victoria Jason, The Raven's Gift by Kelly Dupre

If you could peer far enough into the night sky, you'd see a star in any direction you looked. When would you sleep?
