Introduction	I'm the Green Party councillor for Preston Park ward in the city of Brighton & Hove. I am Deputy Convenor of a group of 13 colleagues - one of the largest Green Groups on any local authority in the UK. As well as speaking out for my constituents on matters ranging from schools admissions to refuse and recycling, I also sit on the Culture, Tourism & Enterprise Overview & Scrutiny Committee; the Community Safety Forum; and the Planning Committee. With a background in the construction & design industry, I am the local Green Party spokesperson on Planning & the Built Environment, and I am a Trustee of the Phoenix Arts Association, the largest artist-led arts organisation in the South East of England. I am a first-class English & Critical Theory graduate (Sussex 1996), and a former student of Architecture. Politics aside, my passions include music, food, art, poetry, the built environment, and nature; and above all, fairness: which is why I'm a Green.
