| Introduction | I love my husband, family, teaching, traveling and FOOD! As my mother says, I have always been a good eater. Growing up in an Italian household leaves you with no other choice! In grade school, I was always the "smallest kid in class" but I could out eat anyone! First grade was a big year...it was then I decided I wanted to be a teacher and my mom knew she raised me well because when asked what my favorite food was, I responded with: "ribs". All my classmates said mac and cheese, pizza, or cookies. Not me. BBQ Ribs! 20 years later, I am a teacher and I still love ribs slathered in delicious barbecue sauce. I like to think that my love for traveling has and will continue to influence my taste buds to grow. I love trying new cuisines and attempting to replicate them at home. Of course, my mother has much influence in my cooking, since garlic is in almost every meal I make! Yikes! As I start my journey with cooking, I hope you can add and comment on recipes I have blogged about! |
