| Introduction | Entrepreneur in the quilting industry. Started my own quilting business in 2007 and had an online store up and running in 2008. Having a love of designing, appliqueing and quilting, getting a machine for quilting was an automatic next step. At this time I have a 3 week turn around for longarm quilting. Upgrading my skill by taking classes and practising on my own quilt tops or charity quilt tops keep me current with the quilting trends. I also started a home-based quilting store out of my front room. I enjoy getting to meet new people as they are "friends I just haven't met yet!" Teaching what I have learned or designed is a part of my skills. I love being a Resource Teacher for WonderFil Specialty Threads. It is great to see a quilter/sewer using metallics or other specialty threads in their sewing machines, when I have shown them the steps to use the threads successfully. I love meeting quilters/sewers all over the country through the teaching part of my career. I hope to meet you someday, maybe at a show or maybe you'll be taking a class from me.
