Introduction	Vladimira Dorčova-Valtnerova (1981), a professor of the Slovak language and literature, in 2005 - 2008 worked as a journalist in Slovakian newsroom of TV Vojvodina in Novi Sad. Since 2009 she is employed at the National Council of the Slovak national minority in Serbia as a coordinator of the Committee for media. From 2008 until today she is a president of the Association of Slovak journalists in Serbia. She holds a master degree in European Studies (the University of Novi Sad). Theme of her master thesis was a comparative analysis of the implementation of international declarations European Charter for Regional or Minority Languages and the European Convention on Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms and the practice of media in the language of the Hungarian national minority in Serbia and Slovakia She published articles on Slovak media in Serbia in various Slovak print media and books.
