Introduction	My first attempt at a dinner party was an utter disaster. I wasn't a chef at the time, just someone with a handful of cooking classes under his belt, preparing a five course meal for my family. Midway through this tragedy, my mother noticed my humming as I readied another course. "You should be chef, you're happy when your cooking." And so it began. 24 years later, one partner (Vincent, also a chef), five restaurants (3 still working), six kids (one step) I live in the kitchen, home or at work. It is a place where I have succeeded and failed, laughed and cried, and held hands of my children and grown employees. The recipes in this blog are mine, meaning I've stolen them, and changed them slightly. I pair them not with wine, but with whatever stories my pickled memory can recall. I urge you to try them. Cook a new meal for your family or friends, and experience the pleasure of exciting others through food.
