| Introduction | Leichombam Kullajit was born to Leichombam Juge Singh and (L) Leichombam Radhe Devi in a small village in Imphal West district of Manipur. After graduating from Oriental College in Political Science, hons, under the Manipur University, he joined in a small local newspaper – Sanaleibak Daily as a crime reporter. He had extensively travelled to the entire part of the Northeast states and some other parts of the country during those periods. He received his Post-graduate diploma in Journalism from the Institute for Media Studies and Information Technology (IMSIT), YMCA, New Delhi. After working in few publishing houses including, State Times, the largest newspaper of Jammu; The Hammer; The Radiance Viewsweekly,The Political and Business Daily, he is currently working with The Pioneer, New Delhi as a journalist. Ranging from hospitality sector to social crime, political scenario to insurgency issues in Northeast states of India, Kullajit writes dozen of articles to his credit. |
