| Introduction | I was born on March 15, 1970 in North York, Ontario. My family moved to Fort Erie when I was 4 and to Niagara Falls when I was 13 after the break up of my parent's marriage. I went to Spain for a year before getting my BA at McMaster University. After that I bummed around until going to Japan in 1999. I lived there until 2005 and realised that I needed to come home. My sister was dealing with breast cancer and I had missed too many years of my nieces growing up. In 2009 I met my husband. We married in 2010 and by October of 2011 we had our first child. We are hoping for one more so the story is not done yet... |

| Favorite movies | Hunger Games (okay so it isn't out yet, I still know I am going to love it), Star Trek (2009), Ninja Assassin and as goofy as it is I can watch Mortal Kombat every time it is on tv! |
| Favorite music | Far too many to outline here but as a good Canadian I love Blue Rodeo, The Tragically Hip and Jann Arden. |
